What you send us
The sample request and the order form ask for your name, work email, company, role, delivery address and country, plus whatever you tell us about your application. We use it to answer you, send the sample and ship the order. Nothing else. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list from these forms.
Who carries it
The forms are delivered by Formspree, which passes the message to our inbox. The site is hosted by Vercel. Both are outside the European Union and both operate under the standard contractual clauses.
What we measure
Vercel Web Analytics counts page views and how fast pages load. It sets no cookies and does not identify anyone. Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used, which includes a replay of mouse movement, scrolling and clicks, and builds heat maps from it. Clarity sets cookies. It masks the text you type into form fields. We also keep our own record of the pages you open, of what goes into the basket and of when a form is started, sent or left, because only our own record can tell us that the person who read an article is the person who asked for a sample. From the network your visit arrives on we work out the name of the organisation behind it, which is how we tell a company looking at an ingredient from somebody at home, and we keep that name and not the address itself.
What you start and do not finish
The order basket lives in your own browser. What you add to it, and what you type into the order, sample and quote forms, including your email address, reaches us as you go, so that we can pick the conversation up if you do not finish. We keep it for 12 months. Write to hello@tint.bio and we delete it sooner.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and orders stay with us while the commercial relationship is live and for as long as accounting law requires afterwards. Analytics data expires on the provider’s own schedule.
What you can ask for
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us measuring your visit. One email to hello@tint.bio is enough and we answer within a month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
Opting out of measurement
Blocking cookies for this site, or using a browser that blocks trackers, stops Clarity recording your visit. The site works exactly the same either way.
